  Food is very tasty, but portions are small for the price. $17 for a dish!!! Rice/bread extra. Enough sauce for one, but only enough meat for a child. Service is OK. Staff is very nice and friendly, but slow. Food takes a long time (mine 45 minutes after ordering). I can see why this place is in Aspen, caters to those with deep pockets and time.

  Ok so we moved into the area and decieded to try this place. Ordered all our drinks and food at once. Slow to get our drinks and slower for food. Mind you there was only one lady serving 12 tables by the time we left. (And a one guy pouring water -- in training I think) Anyways that aside the food lacked flavor - like it hadn't been marinated long --I would've added salt personally-- but you know that amazing taste of good Indian? It didn't have that. The cook came out at the end to ask how things were so I did tell him I would've preferred more flavor or salt (not spiciness as that's what he thought I meant) All in all the one star because we won't be back - Okra was our best dish and the Nann and mint chutney- The butter chicken and gost lamb lacked the "flavor I speak of" For good Indian Moti Mahal 17ave and 14st SW is well worth the drive and prices are similar- For Nepal style food (similar curry and amazing food every time) go to Himalayan 3218 17avenue S.W. Better service better prices - been there tones and never ever a bad time - book ahead they are that busy- Anyways sadly I wish we had gone to one of the two places above - Best of luck -

  The best curry house in Calgary by far. Family run, Jim & Pam always make sure everything is OK, and everyone is well looked after. Fantastic, authentic flavours, traditional menu and some new dishes. I love the cocktails, some of the best in the city and pair well with the food. Great decor, need to book as usually busy. If it's not too busy they do take out.

  This is one of the best restaurants in the city. By far the best curry. Must have the garlic naan.

  An hour and 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Portions are a bit on the small side. Food quality was good however and the servers were attentive and polite.
