  My husband and I ate here for our anniversary while we were in Calgary, and I must say I was extremely unimpressed with the experience. I ordered the pork belly and my husband ordered the braised duck, when my meal arrived, I was extremely disappointed to find that the pork was so tough that it was inedible. The dish was so tough, that I couldn't even cut it using the high end steak knife that was provided. For obvious reasons I had to send the dish back and ordered the duck instead. The house was kind enough to provide me with a complimentary salad(which was sub par at best), but I was shocked by the fact that for the first time in my life, the manager did not come to our table to speak with us after the dish was sent back. I expected a much higher level of customer service from a restaurant with their reputation. Not only that, it was also the first time in my life, that a restaurant did not offer to comp the meal after having a main course sent back. I also had the lovely experience of having to spend the remainder of my meal, with the chef giving me dirty looks from their open kitchen. In the end the duck was delicious(though the accompanying sides were not), and our server was excellent. Though sadly I cannot give praise of any kind, to any other member of their staff. I will never return to this restaurant, and I was frankly appalled by the shocking lack of service, and the outright disrespectful manner of their kitchen staff. Not to mention the utter incompetence of the management, for their failure to perform one of the most basic tenants of their job description. I think perhaps they should be informed, that an impressive wine list does not a high end restaurant make.

  We went to Teatro last night and had the most wonderful time. Our waitress Rochelle made the whole experience a night to remember. She was fantastic, helpful and efficient. She made excellent menu suggestions and our sommelier helped with a beautiful wine pairing. The only thing that lacked was our calamari appetizer, it needed some seasoning or citrus.

  The atmosphere is nice. Big space with tall ceilings and an easy place to have business conversations. I ordered their home made burger and it was average. Nothing special. It was quite salty and frankly over cooked. I should have ordered some other item.

  Unbelievably good and has been for at least the last 5 years. Seafood lasagna is a signature dish. The staff are very knowledgeable and can always be depended upon to craft you a unique and custom dining experience in a first class gourmet restaurant. Once my now wife and I were on a date there and our server put together a wonderful tasting menu ad hoc for us. It was brilliant. Just ask and they will do their best to fulfill any request.
