  This was our first time here, and only our second AYCE sushi restaurant. It seems that we arrived just before the dinner rush - we were seated immediately and the staff explained how to order, took our drink orders and lit our grill. Drinks arrived quickly, and once we had filled out our first order sheet, food started arriving within five minutes. Service was super quick and friendly for our entire visit. Empty plates were cleared away fast, servers asked us several times how we were enjoying the food and if there was anything we needed. We tried several of the rolls, a sushi cone, several items such as spring rolls, chilli chicken, ginger beef.. dessert was the fried ice cream. All the food was flavorful and good quality, nothing was stale or seemed off. The sushi rolls were generously sized with plenty of ingredients - that is, they weren't giant rolls of rice with tiny portions of fish and such. The only reasons I give only 4 stars are that the booths are a little crowded and uncomfortable due to the grill setup on the middle of the table. As well it got quite loud by the end of the visit, but then again, every sushi restaurant we've gone to has been awfully loud. I'll definitely go back here, the food and service was worth a bit of noise!

  At first I came here a couple times a month, but now I am enjoying this place a couple times a week. I lunch here very often with colleagues while at work and have dinner at this place with friends. The quality of the food and especially of the sushi and sashimi is superb and against a reasonable price. Definitely the best sushi place in Calgary. The service and waitresses are usually fast and they check often on you whether you need a refill or want to order your next round of food. Sometimes at dinner time it gets very crowded and it might happen they forget about you or your order gets lost in the pile. The overall experience and the quality of the food is good enough for it to not bother me.
