  This subway is a bit gross and I try to avoid it. Recently there were three younger (high school age?) girls working. One of them put her cell phone down on the food preparation area. I told her that this was pretty gross and she INFORMED me that in fact it was OKAY since subs are made on paper. She was quite arrogant. SMH. Disgusting. Still slightly better than the Crowfoot branch in that it is properly staffed and they don't regularly run out of stuff.

  I ordered a veggie sub. I asked for lots of cucumbers and green peppers. I got 2 cucumbers, 3 pieces of green peppers, 2 pickles, 2 pieces of onion and 2 jalepenos. My partner who order a meat sub got more veggies than the veggie sub....

  So, I spent $80 on a tray of subs, drinks, cookies and chips two days before a work event. Specified the drop-off time of 11:45 AM for delivery. My boss calls me at 12:15 PM (30 minutes after the drop-off time) to tell me the food isn't there. I call the store, no answer. I leave a voicemail, never got a call back. I called the 1-877 number for the Subway call center, the supervisor is nice and calls the owner who says he's surprised to hear this. He offers to sort it out and get the food there in 20 minutes. Which is pointless, because the people I ordered the food for are having a job interview at 1 PM and won't have time to eat. In the meantime I'm getting frantic calls from my boss demanding to know where the food is. I now look incompetent to my boss, even though Royal Oak Subway are clearly the offenders. I called the call center again for an update as it's 12:40 PM and the food is still not there, they put me on hold. I had to hang up to go to a meeting because I actually do my job (unlike some people!) but I never got a call back from the call center NOR from Royal Oak Subway. 3 hours later and still no call. They must be scared lol. Stellar job, guys! I'll never order from you again and will encourage all of my colleagues to do the same. Keep up the horrible customer service! Update: 3 days later, the call center finally called to offer a 10% refund to my boss' credit card. $8 back is great, but I'll still never order from here again.
