The worst shopping experience at Safeway I’ve ever had… A person at the customer service desk greets you saying “What do you need?”. It is not quite polite even in daily conversation, and absolutely unacceptable when dealing with customers. Then, one of the cashiers drops by asking if you are being helped. When you reply with “No”, she says I am a cashier and goes for break… It was a rhetorical question I guess… That is really sad! Our family is used to shopping at Safeway, but since we moved to Arbour Lake, we will perhaps start going to Coop.
