  This restaurant is a classic in Calgary that has remained virtually unchanged for decades. The prime rib is truly worth a trip to this restaurant as well as the staple salad bar and their soups. This is the place I always go for the best in restaurant prime rib. Make a trip to this place or their several other associated restaurants in the same building.

  Apparently I used to come here as a child but I don't recall! First time back as an adult and was impressed. Restaurant is dark but your eyes adjust quickly. Ribs we had for appies were quiet salty, this would be part of the reason for the lack of 5 stars. The salad bar was great, had the Portuguese Soup.....LOVED IT!! Meals were HUGE, have meals for tomorrow too! Food was a little bland but only a little. Had the coconut creme brulee....yum....big too, the three of us should have shared one! Great thing you don't find often, the food they have is pretty much the same since they opened!! Why change a good thing!

  Perry and I was invited to Smugglers Inn back in January in the evening, to have a delicious and yummy dinner along with other friends and family to celebrate with one of our best friends on his 30 yr. sobriety achievement. They always have delicious prime rib and cheesecake desert!! Awesome place for a nice romantic dinner as well!
