  Yeah, it was OK. If I could give 3.5 I would but I can't. We were a group of 4 for a Saturday evening reservation (6 pm). The service was a little slow, but cordial and competent. The manager did a great job trying to accommodate my wife's allergy, which is an unusual one so good effort there. The food was good, but not excellent which I expected for The price. One of Our party got a steak that was medium-well instead of medium-rare but it got redone promptly and was apparently good once correct...no big deal and that happens. Our real issue was with the ambiance. We were placed near the back of the restaurant near a set of speakers on the ceiling and it was brutally loud. We were at a round table for 4 but had to yell to hear each other...not great. They turned it down for us but it was still way too loud. I guess turning it down further would have made it too quiet through the rest of the restaurant. Anyway, I guess we had to take one for the team this time. If you go, just be aware of that back area near to the round bank-ettes.

  Made reservations for Valentine's Day and was looking forward to a lovely evening with my wife. Had never tried Saltlik and was recommended by a friend to give it a try. We were thrilled and over the moon with the food. Steaks were cooked perfectly and came out in good timing. However, the service was less than satisfying. We saw our server less times I can count on one hand and waited over 20 minutes for someone to finally come over to ask if we wanted more water. At this point our table still had dirty dishes and no apology was ever issued during the taking of the payment. The experience was not up to the standards I was expecting, but the food was amazing and out of this world. I wouldn't recommend this place in the future.

  I came in last night with my boyfriend to celebrate our 7 month anniversary. We had an amazing experience. The food was increditable. Our Server was amazing. We will definitely be back because of Tasha. By far my favorite restaurant in calgary. Thanks again Tasha for giving us a night to remember
