  This place has amazing food, great beer and a punk rock-chic dining room where folks from a spectrum of backgrounds sit side by side, to enjoy briskets and pound upon pound of chicken wings. The serving staff are part of the loose punk rock aesthetic, acting vaguely disinterested in the guests, nearly to the point of rudeness but never crossing the line, while still managing to score points for accuracy and efficiency. An all around experience with great food.

  Food was great. The meat was excellent. I like the addition of adding your sauces or eating it as served which was excellent. I can understand the comments about price but parking was $15 for 2 hours so I think the prices are compensating for some city taxes. Portions were fair. A bit more would be nice but i also left feeling satisfied and not over full. The bacon wrapped corn on the cob was unique and very good. I can also say I have eaten grits. I'll be back to try other menu items. Service was good and fast. Seen this place on the food network Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. Drove 2 hours to check it out. Was worth the drive.

  Very average food. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was a bit dry and quite bland. I added a lot of BBQ sauce and then it was good, mainly because their BBQ sauce is very tasty. The service was quite good. They charge a 17% gratuity for large groups.

  Fantastic food and decent prices! The Palomino is a fantastic place for a few beers, as well as delicious smoked meat. The server was excellent, and the meal was fantastic. I got a huge portion (brisket, half rack of ribs, and two sides for $26).
