  I've been shopping here on and off for a couple months, the location is convenient, selection of the fresh foods is awesome and it's never busy. But my experience today was overwhelming. I was having an absolutely terrible day, and came here after work to pick up some groceries and had been having a meltdown in my car and was still sort of crying when I went into the store, I got a phone call while in store that sent me right back into tears. So I was pretty much crying my entire visit (tough day haha) and then when I headed up to the till to pay, the cashier handed me a piece of cake from the bakery with a little note that said "hope this helps, have a better day on us" and told me that one of the Employees there, Chris, had seen me walk in with tears in my eyes and set that up at the till for me. I was honestly so overwhelmed by this small act of kindness that I started bawling while paying for my groceries. So thank you, Chris, and the other 2 cashiers there for making my night much better.

  A bit pricey. The bakery is awesome when looking for a quick treat. Just don't show up after 8PM looking for dessert, they don't seem to staff the dessert counter and seeking assistance is impossible.

  Great store but terrible service. Top notch bakery, wonderful cheese selection, superb butcher department, however there is nobody to help you when you and no cashiers to take your money. There was a single cashier working on the day that I finally gave up. One cashier at 5 o'clock, when everyone is on their way home and stopping in for groceries. This cashier was also manning the self-checkouts. It was madness, and not the first time I have witness this kind of thing at Loblaws City Market. Thank goodness Sobey's is across the street and usually fully staffed!
