- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great way to spend the day as a family or on a date. The "residents" of the historical village are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Calgary and how things were done back in the day. You get what you put in in terms of learning. The more you engage with the staff the more you learn!By Andrew Lau, March 29, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆It's expensive, but that's pretty much the only downside in my opinion. There is so much to do and to learn here. Everyone is in costume from the time period and the houses are well maintained. The rooms give you glimpses into the life of the era. The rides are classics and so simple, the train is so impressive as well. Don't forget to visit the antique candy shop, or ice cream parlour. If you're in to ghost stories there's plenty to be had here as well, with many houses being featured in ghost stories of Alberta/ Canada books. Definitely a place to check out.By Dominica Witt, January 04, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Unique attraction. Historical buildings, railway, actors represent townspeople with miniature dramas at different parts of the park. Fantastic car collection at Gasoline Alley. Less one star because not everything was open the weekend they had Thomas the Train.By Kent Aldous, November 23, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have literally come here so many times that it wouldn't even be possible to estimate how many times I have had the pleasure of spending time here. There is a new experience waiting for you each time you come. Be it due to the seasons or holidays or just plain noticing something I hadn't noticed before. The park is pristine and the staff play their roles diligently. It was a treat my parents passed to me as a child and now it is my priveledge to pass this gem on to my own children.By John William Wade, November 04, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Excellent place to spend a day wondering around learning about some history of Canada and the local area. You can enter almost every building and each one you enter you are greeted by a person dressed in the clothes you would expect from the era. They were all very informative and you can ask as many questions as you like. There is a functional steam train and Steam paddle boat, riding on these are included in your entry fee! Your only extra costs would be good and souvenirs. Gasoline Alley had the most impressive display of old cars and petrol pumps I'd ever seen. I can highly recommend this attraction, but one word of advice, try to go when it's a sunny day, we went on a rainy day and there was a bit of walking sometimes between places, so ended up wet and cold by the end. All in all had a great day exploring the park.By Oliver Hoffmann, July 20, 2016
