  Service was bad. We were seat quickly but after that nobody came to check on us or take our order. We had to wave down a waiter so we can place our order. We ordered Peking duck and it was the only decent dish there. We ordered a few other dishes and it was not very good, even the kids did not like it!

  Went there for dinner Thursday, June 22 before a movie. Place was fairly empty. We were seated quickly, got some tea and ordered. The food arrived in short order and we were completely ignored by every staff member from that moment on. No one asked how the food was, offered to refill teapot, nothing. I needed soy sauce and could not get anyone's attention. I spotted a cart with some bottles and grabbed it myself. It was so disgusting - I couldn't even get any out because the holes were clogged solid. Then, after it was very clear we were finished eating, we sat another 10 minutes while staff ignored us to set tables, chit chat with the customers who speak their language, and basically make clear they couldn't care less about our experience. We finally asked someone to bring us containers for the leftovers and our bill - another 5 minutes went by. Finally I had to yell across the room to our waitress to get her attention and that finally got her moving. The bill was $60 and I left no tip. Will not be returning and will tell everyone I know not to patronize this dump. Only gave one star because it won't let me do none.

  Peking duck was great. Disappointed with the salt and pepper fish filet. Expected the batter to be crispier and more kick to the pepper. Perhaps we didn't order the "right" dishes.

  One of my go to places for Chinese food. Take out is usually fast and I'm out the door within 10 minutes. Dining in has always been pleasant (service isn't amazing but is good enough). The most important thing is the traditional food, it's good. Definitely one of the best places for shanghai dumplings in Calgary.
