  Very nice, cozy spot. Reasonably priced. Tried oysters for the first time. Not for me though. Fish tacos were amazing. Seafood chowder delicious. Loved the mussels as well.

  I did not know what to expect from the Embarcadero. Hidden at an end of 17th Avenue that doesn't see a lot of foot traffic, in an old building that is somewhat worse for wear on the outside, is an excellent restaurant. The selection and quality of the oysters here is fantastic. Also a very deep alcohol menu and some fantastic pastas. The layout of the restaurant means anything other than a booth can be pretty tight, and the noise level can be a bit high (we heard a lot of the bar's blender throughout the evening). So don't expect a quiet space. Regardless, this is great for small and medium sized groups.
