  What can I say about this park that hasn't been said already? It's so nice, that you have to get there early to find a parking spot. Alternatively, pack light and take the #1 bus to it's front step. Enjoy.

  My fave park in the city! My fiancé and I have been coming here since we moved to Calgary 3 years ago. There's tons of space so we never have a hard time finding a good spot. It's always clean and maintained wonderfully. Haven't tried the cafe that's open now but I know I will this summer. It's also a great outdoor skate spot in the winter. The only downside is parking! There just isn't enough parking space, especially on a hot sunny day when the whole dang city comes. I hope they are able to somehow expand the parking situation.
