  Good place. I go with my family and food is good and tasty and they have good menu choices for kids.

  I have been to four different Applebee's locations over several years, and sadly, I have never really enjoyed my experience. Having come to this location, I will say that the food is good. In fact, the food at this location has been the best Applebee's I have had. My problems with this location are with the cramped layout and the poor service. My wife and I walked here from our nearby home and had our baby with a stroller. They sat us at a booth, so our stroller was right in the middle of the aisle, and they didn't have a place up at the front where they were willing to store it. The walkways between the tables are quite narrow as it is, so we were a little uncomfortable to have been blocking the aisle. Our server was very inattentive, and we received most of our service from a different server who took our orders and brought us our food. We told our server, when she came by to check on our food, that we would need the bill right away so we could leave as soon as we were done eating. After about 10 minutes, we went up to the host stand and asked them to get our bill, and another 10 minutes later our server came by and took the payment. During our dinner, I overheard a different server talking to a table near us who had a complaint about their food. I watched as that server grabbed the customers fork and started rooting through her plate with it before telling her it was fine and walked away. Food for thought.

  I had not been to an Applebee's Restaurant since I lived in the United States 10 years ago, as I remembered it, it was mediocre at best. Today I was hoping for slightly more. We ordered takeout. Both meals tasted similar to a frozen microwave dinner you might pick up at your local grocery store for those desperate times when life gets busy. Both meals were lacking flavour and substance. Save yourself money and time. Overpriced and bland.
